Music

Hazelridge School is proud to offer a vibrant, hands‑on music program where students learn by singing, moving, playing, creating, and exploring. Music class is full of opportunities for children to try a wide variety of pitched and non‑pitched instruments, experiment with sound, and express themselves through drama, dance, games, and design projects.

Students learn to listen closely, work together, follow a conductor, read musical symbols, and even write their own rhythms and melodies. Every child gets the chance to discover what music can do and how joyful it feels to make music together.

Our school community comes alive through music—students perform at assemblies, farewells, talent shows, and our annual Christmas Musical. These shared experiences help build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of music.
